  The Cathedral of Siena never finishes to amaze.  After uncovering the floors and allowing a large number of Italian and foreign visitors to discover the marquetry designed by the ancient masters and depicting a journey of knowledge and faith, the cathedral now opens its doors to the building’s summit.  After a long restoration, starting from 6 April, it will be possible to admire the ‘sky’ of the cathedral, which is a series of rooms never before opened to the public and for centuries prohibited to everyone except for the skilled workers of the great architects who passed through the centuries, leaving behind their projects and sketches sometimes written directly on the walls.

Guided tours: open to the public the Teatro dei Rinnovati of Siena

• The Teatro dei Rinnovati, located in the Palazzo Pubblico, with more than seven centuries of history, intersected with the roots of Siena and its people. Considered as one of the most prestigious properties of Siena and province. It was born in the sixteenth century, when the Sala del Consiglio of the Repubblica senese, built in 1343, it was for the first time transformed into an entertainment place. During the guided visit, you will discover and remember the theater architectural evolution, along with valuable evidence of its extraordinary artistic and civil history.
• The theater will be open for visits on weekdays when there is no activity to show.
